Download MDOT Bid Letting Data
MDOT Bid Letting Analysis allows MERL customers to download MDOT bid letting data into their MERL database. These data can then be used to review high to low bids, standard deviation on bids, and average unit price analysis on MDOT bid projects. This tool functions similarly to the Bid Utility available in MERL for local jobs.
Currently, bid letting data from January 2013 – September 2014 is available for download. There is opportunity to check for updates after the data is first downloaded.
Download MDOT Bid Letting Data
From the MERL main menu, select Tools.
Select MDOT Bid Letting Analysis
If you have not already downloaded bid letting data, a link will be visible to the right of the Clear Filter button. Click the link (No Bid Let Data present. Click here to download). If data has already been downloaded, the link will read Check for Bid Let Data Updates. Click the link to check for updates.
A Download MDOT Bid Letting Data window will appear. By default, all items will be selected if there is no existing Bid Letting Data in the database. If there is existing data, the items will not be selected that already exist.
To modify the selections either, right click on the window and choose from one of the four selection options will appear: Select All, Select None, Invert Selection, and Copy to Clipboard. Or, click the checkboxes under the Download column to select or unselect download options as needed.
Select the OK button.
A window will appear when data has been successfully downloaded, select OK.
