A Pay Item Code update is now available. 8210002 Monument Box, Special and 8210020 Protect Corners have been added to the 2003 codes.

- Added support for importing SAPW PES Export file.
- Added Import_Save form to allow user to save an import with different Contract Info than the export file.

- Fixed a bug in sorting that would cause the incorrect sorting and sometimes an error on loading a Contract.

- Fixed bug exporting to MDOT CSV for Estimate with multiple 7000 codes--supplemental descriptions were getting mixed up.

Michigan's LTAP will be holding four MERL 4.0 Hands-on Training sessions across the state in January 2007. More information is available in the Training Brochure (requires Acrobat Reader to view) and at the Michigan LTAP Workshop page.
- 11/17/2006 - Pay Item Code Update for MERL 4.x Available
A Pay Item Code update is now available. It reinstates 8120030 Flag Control and 8120050 Minor Traf Devices.

Updates to the MERL Project Estimator (version 4.1.0) and the MERL Utilities Library (4.1.4) are now available.
Fixes/Updates include:- Added Resource Library with MDOT Documents as well as function for Admin users to add User documents.
- Added code to sort exports to CSV the same way the Estimator's Worksheet is sorted.
- Added code to intelligently split Supplemental Description for Export to MDOT CSV.
- 10/09/2006 - MERL Web-Based User Group Meeting Materials Available
The first MERL Web-Based User Group Meeting was held on the morning of 10/9/2006 with MERL Users from cities, counties, and consulting firms in attendance. The slides of the presentation are now available on the Michigan LTAP web site here.

Updates to the MERL Project Estimator (version 4.0.14) and the MERL Utilities Library (4.1.2) are now available.
Fixes/Updates include:- Fixed bug in working with Project Management Utility postings and estimates for a contract using User Defined Pay Item codes.
- Fixed bug in importing .merlcontract file which would ignore User Defined Pay Item Codes.

MERL 3.0.22 Update has just been released. The update fixes a problem in sorting the Estimator's Worksheet by Supplemental Description. It also includes an update to the MDOT Approved Vendor list. You can get the update via the MERL Update Wizard, or you can download the patch here.

MERL 3.0.21 Update has just been released. The update includes a couple of updated 2003 Pay Item Codes for Minor Traffic Devices and Flag Control. The update also includes the new 2005 Aeronautic Pay Item Codes. You can get the update via the MERL Update Wizard, or you can download the patch here.
